Reading through these threads, it seems like the tires on the XF are being replaced somewhat prematurely. Some of you are reporting replacement as early as 11K miles. Do you know if it's related to the XF, or the tires? Has anyone gotten the expected mileage on tires? I don't think I've ever replaced tires before 40K. I don't have any issues to report on the wear of mine, but I only have 6K miles on my XF.

 

I think you'll be lucky to get 20-25k on sport tires. I've got about 15k on the 2nd set of ps2's. Next time I'm going with GY Eagle F1's.

 

I have 28,000 miles on my PS2's. I expect to get another 2,000 - 5,000 miles out of them. They have 2/32" tread left before they reach the tread wear indicators. IMO not bad for a performance tire (the front tires have a little more tread left but I will buy a complete set when the rear tires are worn).

Ditto on the Goodyear Eagle F1's...

 

Yeah my rear tires wear out faster than the front too. I think is has something to do with my heavy right foot.
