Default Newbie! Tire Question

I'm so close to getting the Crossfire BUT! I've read several reviews of people stating that they had problems with tire blowouts or that the tire pressure light was constantly coming on. Did any of you experience this problem? If so how did you remedy the situation? But new tires? If so which ones and how much are they?

I don't think any of those issues are specific to the XF. A blow out is a blow out, and the issue with the tire pressure light, is just a technology adaptation.

New tires will run between $1,200 - $2,400 a set, depending on the tire, and sale specials.

Here are some brands that carry Crossfire OEM size tires. The prices shown are from
TireRack and are a few months old, but they will give you an idea of what to expect.
Note: most Discount Tire stores will match Tire Rack's prices saving the hassle of getting
the tires shipped to you or the shop where you are going to have them installed.

OEM Crossfire tire sizes:
225/40ZR-18
255/35ZR-19

• Goodyear F1 Eagle GS D-3: 728.00 + 88.00 (road hazard insurance) = $816.00
• Michelin Pilot Sport 2: 1,040.00 + 125.00 (road hazard insurance) = $1,165.00
• Bridgestone RED50A: 934.00 + 112.00 (road hazard insurance) = $1,046.00
• Avon Tech M500: 666.00 + 80.00 (road hazard insurance) = $746.00
• BF Goodrich G-Force KDW: $774.00 + 93.00 (road hazard insurance) = $867.00

FP... what kind of tires are you buying for $2,400 a set???

Typo, s/b $1,400.00

I wouldn't, but I'm sure there are some over the top tires out there, depending on the application.
