Question brake dust "shields"

Does anyone out there have brake dust "shields" on their car.
I saw them on display at Pep Boys.
How well or not so well do they work?
I need input.
How do they go on?
The touch-free car wash I go to does not remove the brake dust from my rims.
Thanks

~ i would recommend changing to a dust free brake pad... a "search" under "rotex gold" will being up many informative posts, part numbers, suppliers, etc.

cheers!
