kmac front and rear camber kit
i know plenty of you have asked about a way to fix the camber after lowering your car ... looks like there is a option for this now with the kmac front and rear camber kits at a whopping cost of $300 front and $300 back ...
sounds like a set of crash bolts from their description and costs like a cnc machined top mount with full adjustability ... these cars are just not worth modding hehe ...

They're worth modding, but you need to be an enthusiast and have the free time to machine your own custom parts. It makes the car just that much more desirable to me. It's not like a 350Z or an Evo, wrx. Its really cool and quirky, like the slant nose commander and old bullet nose Studebakers. It's the beez knees.
If you want cheap and easily modifiable you should get a Honda or a Chevy.

Ouch...well I thought the front was fully adjustable and it was only the rears that needed a camber kit??
Is that $300 in US or AUD I would assume USD.

If this is indeed what they are offering it's a great buy. I think K-mac has free shipping too. What are you guys complaining about?

but it still doesn't change the fact after all is said and done i can't really make my own coil over system for it or buy one for less than $1,500 bux... or get a ignition system for it to retard the timing (these twin spark plug systems really do bite for modding)..
but to some the more stubborn something is the more they like it ... thats why i do stick with it ... but wonder if i will ever put my skill and know how to it or if i decide to play it safe and keep it simple ...

the Honda crowd isn't very cheap ... if i wanted cheap performance i'd get a SRT-4 ... like the one i drive every day that puts down 300hp with less than $2k into it ...
don't hold it against me...
so i say NAY ! i want cnc machine top mounts that are fully adjustable for $300 for front... $300 for back...
edit that, I just remembered we have recirc-ball steering, duh, so we can't use the mcpherson strut style camber adjuster.
I guess k-mac uses an eccentric bushing?

Was just going through the k-mac site and was surprised to find out that the kits also come with bushing removal and installation tools, wow your really getting your monies worth there. Definitely work the entrance fee.
"All above K-MAC “eccentric adjuster bush kits” are supplied with extraction / insertion tools where required to further simplify installation and are available for numerous models Audi A4 / S4,/A6, BMW, Mercedes, most Japanese makes etc. through to the latest Volkswagen Golf and Passat."

Hello all,
I have had some left front damage and I need more camber caster adjustment than the standard concentric repair bolts for either Chrysler or Mercedes can do. At most the standard concentric bolts can do is + or - .5 degrees. However because of my situation I need more adjustment than that. It looks like I am going to have to go to using the KMAC units up front as they give you up to 1.75 degree + or - . The KMAC units are pricey at $370.00 verse $60.00 for the concentric bolts from Mercedes. But it looks like it will work for me. I will let you know how it goes.
