I have over time replaced the stabilizers on all three cars. When I got the old ones off they seem like they should work fine yet there is a noticeable difference in the feel and how much straighter they track. If I didn’t notice a difference after the first replacement I wouldn’t have done it two more times.

Exactly.

This last time, there was the same resistance in the old one as new - but there was a 'slop' to it - I think this was how the steering was so loose.
I saw a night and day difference after changing it, same as when I did the Graphite car's the first time.

Here is a good pic to show you where the stabilizer is located under the front suspension

Hello fellow members. Just replace this dampener in my ‘05 with 60k miles and I have to very much agree with all the positive posts! Less than $50 (JoeTLC.com) and it was a very easy DIY. Before, the car did not track perfectly straight, easily weaving due to road imperfections. With the new dampener it’s so much better and tighter. The old shock offered hardly any resistance compared to the new one. An inexpensive steering upgrade. Thank you so NeverEnough for sharing this great tip!,, Cheers!

Going to be replacing mine this weekend if all goes well, it appears to be a very simple job to do.

Let us know how it goes and how easy it was in your estimation.

It is a simple job as I have replaced mine on 2 Crossfires
Using auto ramps to get the car up and give you more room to work is a must IMO
30 minutes start to finish to change the part and go for a drive

I will probably need to replace this on my 2007 Coupe this year. Last time I changed it was back in 2013, but I've only driven driven 15k since then.

VERY easy to do, and I did notice it seems the steering was easier to turn, I found that odd but after taking it out to Amish country in Ohio and back the steering seems quicker.

Just a quick question.....will the tracking have to be redone when i change the steering stabiliser?

Not at all. It's only held on by one nut and another nut and bolt. Should take less than a half hour to replace.
Here's a post I did on how to replace it. (I have a lot of these types of these posts). Use good jack stands, chock the wheels and make sure the emergency brake is on.
