Default Gashed a tire

Driving down Sunrise Hwy yesterday morning. Ran over something, tire went flat within half mile. Tried the inflator kit and tire eventually held air even though I had to refill it twice but knew I still had to get new tire. Was able to get same all season Conti that I have now. When the old tire was taken off the rim much of the inflator inside was still a liquid and that was about 4 hours later. There was a chunk taken out of the tread and a nearly 2 inch cut on the inside of the tire. Apparently that inflator stuff isn't too bad. $322 for the tire with mounting and balancing.
