I thought about doing this many times but it is a little over the top on the black for my taste. I have seen one in person and while it didn't look bad I don't know if I could live with it year round. As an alternative I have been trying to find a little darker color that wont give that dirty *** rim look and carry over to all the silver pieces (strakes windshield surround etc) I would love to see somebody do a gunmetal or bronze gunmetal to change the look. I like the agressive look of going a bit darker but it's hard to find the balance.
