Ultimate Drag Wheel/Tire is Complete!!!
I just finished my new setup and will be testing it out Sept. 5th. I am running Voxx 17x9'' wheels with 20mm offset and Hoosier 315/35 17 DOT drag radials. Each wheel/tire combo weighs in at 54lbs. I did have to use 15mm spacers as the tire hit the inner wheelhouse. Here's some pics to enjoy...

It gave me no problems with the 275/40 tires.............but the 315's are 40mm wider and have a HUGE section width on a 9'' rim.

Mopar, you and SRTpowa got lucky with those 17x9's. I can find anyone that makes one with the 5x112 pattern. I am looking at the Voxx MG 17x8 and MT ET Street radials. Americas Tires quoted me $710 out the door this morning.

Just buy the 17x8's and have them widened to 10'' and you'll be perfect.

I'm gonna go out Sept. 5th for open ricer race night aka Midnight Mayhem. It'll be the first time to test out my new Inmotion tune and the mega drag radials.
Wow, I like how the dirt sticks to the tires! Now that's sticky!
I'm really thinking about those Voxx wheels for my drag set up too (17x8), but not that wide of a tire of course. Lookin' good and can't wait to see your timeslips! Good luck!

I've got 285's on my front 7.5's for autocross

up that spacer to 1/4", which is a little over a mm wider and it won't rub at all...that's what soloIIracer on this forum is doing...that tiny bit of extra spacer is just enough to avoid rubbing

Discount tire guys are idiots............they only want you to run stock size/offset wheels with stock size tires(for liability issues). 17x8 with 20 offset will fit and clear everything.
just ordered my second set of hoosiers. Are you guys running them everyday? I hit the track alot more than most of you, but don't drive my car daily either. They lasted me the summer races. Looks like I'll need 2 sets to complete a season. Burnouts on the street is like burning 20 dollar bills. Remember there is only 5/32nds of thread on these hoosiers.

Looks great! Let us know how they do at the track. I wish mine were a 20 mm offset. The 40mm I have makes them look too far in the fenders and I have slight rubbing on the inside of the frame/fenderwell, over big bumps.
