Default Re: Time for new shocks

Two quotes from SLK owners on Benzworld:

About 6 months ago I posted a plea for help to soften the ride of my 97-230 . I think I've found the answer. I bought a pair of rere KYB gasAdjust shocks from Impotec (I believe from Dallas) for $54.88 each. Importantly I also bought their shock mounting kits - they have the correct rubber-mountings from Mercedes. I am buzzing around (with happy wife onboard) who now likes the new comfort of the car as do I! So now, I dont need to change either as previously suggested! [] It feels like a comfortable Limo now but with a serious sporty twist.

What are in the shock mounting kits?
