About 6 months ago I posted a plea for help to soften the ride of my 97-230 . I think I've found the answer. I bought a pair of rere KYB gasAdjust shocks from Impotec (I believe from Dallas) for $54.88 each. Importantly I also bought their shock mounting kits - they have the correct rubber-mountings from Mercedes.
