Default Tirerack Cheap tires

Just an FYI for everyone, Tirerack has their Hankook Ventus S1 EVO tires in our stock sizes for $89 and $129. 275/35/19's for $139 a piece closeout prices.

Shipped to Canada, I just got 4 tires for under $700USD. Cheapest I could find locally was nearly $1700. Needless to say, but I am pretty excited about the prices.

I just installed a set of these on the rear of my 04. The 275s look fantastic on this car. I only had 16,000 miles on my original tires, but had an irreparable flat and decided to replace both rears with the Hankooks.

They ride great. The side wall is .3 inches higher, so there's a little more flex I guess. The overall diameter is off by .6 inches, which throws off the speedometer by 1.3mph at 60mph, not a big deal. I want to say that they are a little quieter on the freeway than the Michelins, but I'm not entirely convinced that I'm not imagining it. The biggest difference is in the appearance. They look really aggressive from the rear and fill out the fender wells better than the 255s, plus that price at the Tire Rack is incredible.

I got just the rear tires(275/35/19) and it was a total of $520 canadian shipped to my door. Can't beat that price anywhere.

I was shopping for new tires this morning, swung in here and caught this post. I've currently got the PS2's on my 04 crossfire anyone with any comments on how they weigh against each other? First time I'm having to purchase new tires since I got the car a little over a year ago I use it as my daily driver trying to decide if I should spend the money for another set of Pilots or go with something cost effective!

I dont think they are a particularly great tire. They are quite slippery in the cold (-5 to -10C). Haven't had a chance to drive them in plus 20 yet to see how they really grip.

I just flunked NJ inspection due to rear tire wear so I've been doing some research to buy new ones, including the Hankook Ventus S1 EVO. Ratings seem OK but it seems lousy wet handling is a consistent comment. So far my choice is still the General Exclaim UHP's.

PS2s' beat out the S1s' hands down. You will be highly disappointed by going to the S1s'.

I just put Hankook V12 Evo K110s' on my rears and I have about 300miles on them so far including about a dozen passes at the drag last weekend. They handled themselves pretty well in the rain this week. ust a second thought for your UHPs'
