You'll also need to adjust camber.
The previous owner of my car had lowered it and installed the camber kit, but not adjusted camber.
I just spent $257 fixing that and getting an alignment and new steering stabilizer.

i bought just the springs form eibach. ride quality is the same but without the camber adjustments i replaced my tires after 11000 miles because of inner tire wear.

the camber kits are fairly expensive and then you have to pay for the install labor.

depends who is going to do it if you do it your self at the minimum to the springs and install the camber kit, if you are having it done professionally replace the shocks as well since it will be cheaper in the long run.

the shocks will make a big difference as you can adjust the stiffness and be able to get a track tuned setup or a nice luxurious setup.

look at needswings and they sell shocks, springs, and brake upgrades.

how many miles if you have like 30,000-50,000 might as well do the shocks as well to avoid a bad shock in the future.

You can do it yourself for free by cutting the stock coils, but some members on here will have a stroke! I did mine and have no problems with tire wear. I'm getting ready to get my rears replaced and I'll post pics to prove it. Just do a search for directions. Whatever you choose, good luck!

If you're going to lower it, do the shocks too. I lowered mine with Eibach springs and Koni adjustable shocks. It rides like a dream! The shocks are expensive, but well worth it! It was the best money I've spent on the car. I did all of the work myself which was fairly easy (I had access to a lift though). I didn't install camber kits because the car isn't my daily driver and the camber actually isn't that far off from the stock settings.
