Default Four rims in the car...advice?

I just picked up four new rims from the dealership yesterday using my wifes Volvo. These same rims will be installed on the car this Friday with new tires and sensors. The four large boxes fit in the Volvo with the rear seat down, but have no idea how I'm going to get these to the tire shop.
I'm hoping two rims will fit in the cargo area and the other two on top of the passenger seat...
Has anybody transported four rims in a Crossfire Coupe that has advice to share?

I've actually transported four stock rims and tires in the crossfire before. You may have a hard time transporting four rims in the boxes...but if you take them out and wrap them in blankets you should be able to fit two in the back and you may be able to leave the other two in their boxes to fit in the front seat.

When I had to move my four rims and tires I put the two 18" rims in the back and shut the hatch gently. Then I put a towel down and stood the two 19" rims up in the front seat. They fit in their, very little manipulation needed. Just an arm to hold them in while you are driving so they don't spill over into the drivers seat.

I only felt comfortable with 3, but ended up with two.

My GF followed with the other two. Don't want to scratch them before they even get on your car..

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think making two trips is the way to go so as to not damage the car...

Default Four Rims in Coupe - No Problem..

Today I had four new wheels mounted on the car. The four new rims were able to fit in the cabin no problem. Two on the passenger seat (in boxes) and two in the rear with one rim out of box. So if you ever wondered if you could transport four wheels in the cabin......

Have your wife follow you to the tire store in Volvo - drop off the Crossfire and the new wheels, take her to lunch and pick up the Crossfire later. You can then either take the old wheels home in the Volvo and list them for sale someplace, or just have the tire store dispose of them.

I got all four in the car, the 19's in the back, bagged and protected with towels and the 18's in the passeneger seat bagged and wrapped in towels. There is no way they will fit in boxes. My wife had to work the day I had my appoinment to get them mounted so I had to be creative. The other alternative is to drop them off two at a time and pick up your old wheels the same way. I got everything back home with no damage to anything, you just gotta be very, very careful. I doubt you could do this in a roadster, just the coupe.

I had to drive Cathy's minivan all the way to Northern Indiana to get Bike Cop's SRT and the two rims with tires he threw in the deal.
Couldn't take the Roadster 'cause they wouldn't even go through the trunk hatch hole.

Nope. About the only thing you can carry far in the roadster is a pretty woman and a smile.

roadster with a stick
