Default Will 275/40/19 Fit the rear?

I've been reading up on the "Biggest OEM Tires" thread and haven't had much luck finding anyone who has installed 275/40/19's on the rear. After using the Wheel/tire size calculator I've found that they will fill out the wheel well by an extra 21 mm and will be about 20 mm wider. After measuring and checking clearances, my only concern is the possibility of the tire rubbing against the inside lip of the fender well since it will be wider. Also, the possibility of hitting a shock tower or bottoming out?

I would go with 275/30's but at Tire Rack the Pirelli PZero All Season in 275/40 are over $50 less! Plus they would possibly give a softer ride.

Thanks in advance!

If they fit, it will throw off your odometer/speedometer.

Indeed, the speedo will read 6.3% low. When the speedo reads 60MPH the car will be traveling 63.8MPH...

Thanks!

The 40 aspect ratio will fit, but your Crossfire will look even more like a shortened little dragster. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
