Default Continental Extreme Contact DWS

Has anyone tried these tires? I needed new tires on the back of my car and since I put a hole in one the other day driving over something I decided that I've put it off long enough and searched TireRack like I do about once a week to see if prices change. These tires came up and New Items and the rears were only $197 a piece so I ordered two for the back and I'll get matching fronts in the spring.

The reviews I've read seemed pretty positive. This is a steal for a great Ultra-High Performance All Season tire. I'm also pretty sure they have a 50,000 miles tread life warranty.

those tires do look really nice, I like the DWS on the main tread that helps tell you where you stand with treadlife. neat little feature

I've heard these tires are phenominal in the rain.

If they have a 50,000 miles warranty, it's going to take me forever to wear these suckers out. I put about 3,000 miles on Christine this year lol.

Im glad someone else has these tires I ordered a set off Tirerack. Was ify on how they would be on the car. Good to see that you all are happy with the selection so it makes me say a sigh of relief. Now i just need to get my rims and it will be all good.

I looked it up and suprisingly both have 10/32" of tread. The tread looks more imposing on the DWS tires and much deeper for some reason.

The OEM Conti A/S have a treadwear rating of 360 while the ExtremeContact has a rating of 540.
