just purchased some new hankook ventus v12 evo tires....
i paid 175 for the 19 and 130 for the 18 the tread and rubber just scream performance i recommend them best tire for the buck....

 

Yep, I'll be needing rears real soon and am also looking at these Hankooks...

 

I just got these installed on my car last Friday. I went 235/40/18 and 295/30/19. Got them from Tirerack. There is currently a $50 mail-in rebate when you buy 4.

I'm still waiting for the breakin period to be over before I try pushing them too hard, but my impressions so far are positive. They are quiet (my GS-D3's got really loud) and my car feels more "planted". Handling and ride is much better overall. Not really sure if this is due to the fact that they're new tires or because of the tires themselves.

It hasn't rained here yet since I got them, so I can't comment on their performance in wet conditions.

 

I have them on my car. They are great on a dry road but use caution in the rain as I find them not to be that good at times. But then again it could just be the way I drive though.
