et is kinda high and the width is pretty small for drag tires. you need something 8.5" or wider

16x 7 1/2 is perfectly fine for DRs(255/50 16) and I'm sure the offset will work. I've bolted up about twenty different M-B rims(from 16-20'') to the rear of the Crossfire and every one of them fit without rubbing issues. I currently run old 220 body S-Class 16x7 1/2 rims(don't know the offset).................they do look stupidly "sunken in" the wheel wells but there' no clearance problems of any kind.

Mopar I think you may have the same wheels I'm looking at these are off a S Class aswell!

Mrphotoman those look awsome but I need wheels for sunday they wont make it down to Aus in time, these have Pirelli 235/60/16 tyres so I may aswell cook them at the track then next time I'll order some slicks probably from Needswings!

32 you tell me what Merc has a 16 x 8.5 rim? ahah, I'd be very shocked lol

Not powder coated..........satin black painted. The rims weigh too much(20lbs each) but the tires are nice and light and I plan on switching to real light weight rims as soon as I can find them for sale.

20 lbs is reasonable isn't it? SRT6 stockers are around 25+ lbs?

It is "reasonable".............but I don't want reasonable anymore(I want 13.5lb rims). I'll sell you my 20lb rims if that's what you're looking for though.
