37 lbs of Fury!!!
I cleaned up my new 16x7 drag rims and had my 255/50 16Hoosiers mounted to them today before putting them on the scales. I know they're ugly wheels.........but I am willing to settle since they weigh so little. I can't wait to test them out at the track on January 24th.

Squirrel CrusherAge doesn't matter..........everybody has different opinions on what's ugly. That's why dealerships actually sold Pontiak Azteks.
PS The rims aren't that bad looking..........but I wouldn't personally daily drive on them.
what are you going to be looking at when it comes to the air pressures? im looking hard at this setup for mine but really dont know were to start the air at
whats the lowest you can go on this setup?

I run 18psi in the Hoosiers at the track and pump them back up to 30psi for the drive to and from the track.
good job! i'd hve to look it back up but i think we were around 43-44 lbs with our setup, i know for sure your front runners are much lighter then anyone else's! got some pics/specs on those?
going down to a 225 your sacrificing some width, have you used this width before? we have not been thru our 26x10.5's yet so thats the only width we have tried, 1.74sec is our best on them

They are 255's..........not 225's. I've been running the 255's most of this last season and have been cutting 1.7x 60's consistanly.
My front runners are 26x4.5x17 M&H Racemasters on 17x4 M-B 211 E-Class steel spare rims. I'm hoping to swap those out sometime this upcoming year for aluminum 17x4's(I have one already, just waiting for another to show up).

What do mine weigh? And Rob, I did 1.76 on my street tires. I actually did worse w/ the Hoosiers I bought from Mopar, but I am not wasting street tread, lol...
I can't remember how much they weighed in at..........but they're no lightweights that's for sure. I cut a best 60' of 1.72 on the 315/35 17 setup I sold to you..........you just have to get used to drag radials.
not complaining, I know that...I only had time for 2 times down the track, I just figured you knew their weight..LOL...they can't weigh anymore than stocks, at least from mounting them...didn't notice much of difference...just know I am not wasting the expensive F 1's...I ran Crager 3X15's on my old Camaro...stopping was interesting sometimes...
Finally bolted the wheels up today to double check clearance............all it well and they look very mean. No spacer needed..............but I do need to get very short ball type lug bolts.

Hey man, you forgot a couple of bolts!
They look really good.
I just double checked my Voxx MG + MT 275/17 DR's and they weigh in at 55 pounds!
I need a set of those rims!

They look really good. They're all in the wheel.............only thing missing is the M-B star center cap which I won't put on the car.

are your offsets et37?

are your offsets et37?
The offset is 37............I've got a set of the shortest ball seat bolts discount tire had......and had to cut them down a little shorter.

Just take your OEM wheel and lugbolt(both OFF the car) and put the lugbolt in it and measure the "stick out" on the backside. I know it's supposed to thread in 6 threads.....for the rear wheels to not hit the e-brake.
Hoosier DRs are DOT rated..........but not for highway use. I drive on mine to/from the track 20 miles each way with no issues though. It's just a matter of how much faster you will wear them out.
As far as the whole "what to do with my street rims" deal goes.............you can just put them inside your car with you. You will run slower times but you won't have to worry about someone stealing your rubber for the ride home.
