Question GranSport 6 Brake Pads... Any Good?

So I need new pads and want something with a little more bite to them and as I was searching Tire Rack I came upon these:

Satisfied GranSport 6 Pads

I haven't heard of them and they only have 3 reviews. Can anyone shed some light on these? Or recommend a set of Pads with some bite?

Hi Jason - Happy holidays! What's on your car now? I have a set of Rotex Gold going on in the spring.
Have not heard of the ones you are talking about.

How's there bite? Do they grab well? Looking for something that's almost a track pad but I can use it for everyday city driving.

Happy Holidays to you too Pat!! I have the rotex golds on there now but they don't grab as well as the stock pads... So I was looking for something a bit more bite and stumbled upon these. I've never heard of them either but the tirerack rating is pretty good. I clean the car every week and the rotex definitely cut my time on the wheels in half but with my lady friend driving the car every now and again a little extra stopping power's never a bad thing

I've got the Porterfield R4S pads. They require extra effort to stop when cold but once warmed up but then they really work well, so I can't recommend them for every day. They also make some noise for the first few stops when cold. At the track they work great. I have a year on them and the wear is minimal. After the last track day I had some material transfer to the rotors. There was an accident and I didn't cool them down properly. The rotors haven't warped and while I have some slight grooving on the front rotors, I don't think it's excessive. Overall I'm happy with them for how I use my brakes.

akes bite well. they will fade over track time but very reliable for everyday and no bedding required.
there really isnt a pad that does double duty as track and streetable . you have to give something to get something,ie: squeal for long lasting carbon ceramic, quiet pads with copper for lots of brake dust. you see what i mean. akes are as close to both as i have seen but if you track them hard they will fade fairly quickly

Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads seem pretty good for the money.... Sounds like they do everything the Rotex Golds do at half the price.

32Krazy, How many miles have you put on your pads?

Anyone tried both the Akebono's and the Rotex Gold's?
