HI I GOT MY CROSSFIRE AND IM SAVING UP TO BUY SOME RIMS AND I WANT TO PUT THE BIGGEST SIZE RIMS ON THERE AS I CAN SO IF YOU KNOW WHAT THE BIGGEST SIZE RIMS ARE THAT WILL FIT ON A CROSS FIRE PLEASE HELP ME. That is a pretty open question. A lot can be done if you are willing to do further mods to make the sizes work. I believe the widest that I have heard anyone going is 11" in the rear, but that was not a direct bolt on. I believe that a few people have gone 22", but that is just stupid in my opinion. I do not know of anyone that has gone above 20" that looks decent.

I know..... next you are going to ask who has gone 11" and what mods have to be done to do it. And, what has to be done to get 22s on it. I will tell you that you are probably going to get slammed by a lot of people for not spending some time searching the forum for your own answers. If you spend a little time searching, you will find a plethora of information. Once you have done that, if you have specific questions about how a certain person has done something, you will find that people will bend over backwards to help you. If you just want someone else to do your research for you, or tell you step by step what you need to do, I think you will be a bit disappointed in the responses that you get.

WELL, I HAVE TO TELL YA, THIS...JMT23...try the search feature first, look for wheels, spacers, suspensions etc...you will find most are trying to lower theirs, but you will be going a different direction by trying to go big, so you may be the first to do that. You will be limited on rim selection with a mercedes bolt pattern...I wish you luck, but you may be in a lone situation here...22s are the biggest I have heard of...but I can't imagine them being bolted up, without adaptors...and spacers...again good luck...

 

Here in Oakland there doesn't seem to be a size limit on rim size 24's even 27's if they don't fit just keep raising the body until they do. So to answer your question it depends on the sort of neighborhood you live in, that ought to dictate how BIG you can go

I have an 05' and I did a +1

19s in the front
20s in the back

you need to keep the stock staggering

as far as the lip you'll get a little one in the front and a big one in the back

I went with TSWs.

tires are
255/40R19
285/30R20

The front are the same width as the stock rears are... and the rear are about 11.5 inches(they rub when i go over my driveway)

The ONLY time they have rubbed while on a road was at 135 in a 90 degree turn on a highway.

You can get spacers to fix this.

Best thing to do it call up discount tire direct or tire rack... i got mine at wheels next

all of those people will tell you what will fit

I know you can fit 20s and 22s respectively but they have to be 3 piece rims( around 1000 each).
