The Crossfire has two types of sensor and each operates at a different frequency, 433(?) and 315 mhz.
Get the correct ones.
The one above says it fits all Crossfires and this cannot be true as some 2005s used a different model. So does this one fit all except some 2005s or all 2005s?
The Schrader EZ Sensor does have a model for both OEM types, or so it says anyway.

You are correct on the two frequencies 180. Guess the only way to be sure would be to have them read prior to placing an order. I just don't like the Idea of throwing out at least 150 bucks and crossing your fingers.. LOL

How do you find out what frequency you have?

If you knew the part number it would help.
I'm a dummy as I knew that I should get the part number when I had my new tires installed and forgot to check.

We are anxious to hear the results. This has been an ongoing problem which will get worse.

MrM, when you remove the old TP sensors please take a note of the number.

These are actually going in the new Lexani wheels. Old wheels and tires will remain intact at this point.

They should be in late next week. Rear tires came in yesterday and fronts scheduled for Thursday.

I would say $152.67 is not too bad for 4 new sensors.

Here is a pic from my coupe's sensors.. reading same MHZ as wife's I'm REALLY confident these will be compatible..

Can you tell the frequency from the outside?

Here "Hibdon Tire" has a scanner that will. Went to a "Robertson Tire" .. nope.. doesn't read frequency. So I'd say call around.

Its all so confusing. Does anyone know if the "universal" replacements such as Dorman 974-001 will work on a 2005 SRT6 IF you have dealer reprogram the car. Already have the sensors on the car from when I was having tire and wheel problems, figured I would just replace them all since batteries getting old. According to Dorman you just "drive the car". Been doing that for 6 months, still have a light. Also just told me to leave ignition on for 20 min before driving above 50 MPH for 10 minutes, but it probably won't work after having sensors on car so long. Guess its worth a try. Have also visited four tire dealers who can't make it work. Ready to pay the dealer if my chances are good. NTB said they will try but will charge me $40 whether it works are not. It shouldn't be this hard.

It's just not gonna work, I had to come to that realization, and the sooner you do that the better. I paid a bunch of money for sensors, had the same problem, took it to the dealer, and they literally forced me to pay them $50 to tell me that they can't get it to work. Just don't even waste your time.

I've tried using after market sensors and the dealer was not able to program them. I got the OEM sensors through Discount Tires and the Dealer programmed them. Discount was unable to program them.

Thanks, after looking at Dorman's site realized that they're not even the right Dorman part no for the "Direct Fit" line for Crossfire. A special Dorman tool requires cloning of original sensors which I don't have. To compound things there is also a "MultiFit" Dorman application. Besides can't find anyone in my city of over a million people that has the Dorman tool. Still not sure where to go to get the right sensors and car programmed. If its the Dealer probably looking at $400 - $500 for a silly light on the dash. I've lost one tire already since the light has been on continuous these past six months, probably would have happened regardless so thinking its time to give up and "let the light keep burning".

I've got 4 oem sensors. I bought a set of wheels about 4 years ago that came with the sensors and center caps. The wheels are in new condition and he told me they had been driven less than 500 miles. If interested in them p.m. me.

Check the tire pressure yourself frequently and do the mod :
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post537700

( do not remove the sensors from the wheels when you get new tires or the technician will have to put on a big glob of stick-on weights to balance. The wheels are designed to have TPMS sensors. )

BTW: does anyone have an old set of sensors they'd like to donate for when ( if ever ) I get my set of SE wheels refinished ?

Thanks, but I understand two different sensor models were used for the 2005 SRT6 (model that I have) so not sure they would work or clone for my car. The fix by the homelink control to disable dash light is looking like the way to go.
