Unhappy Front Suspension noise

I have been going crazy over noise from the front suspension. I have inspected, torqued or adjusted the following:
- shock absorber mountings and bushings (bilstein hd w/full bump stop)
- control arm bushing (in very good condition)
- ball joints (cannot find any play)
- tie rod ends (no play here either)
- sway bar bushings (in very good condition)
- front wheel bearings (tightened a little - as much as i dare)
- torqued the pinch bolt at the bottom of the steering column near the steering box

The noise is caused by a small sharp bump and normally at relatively slow speeds (50mph or less). It also comes from either side of the car. (05 XF roadster). Otherwise the suspension is compliant and rides very well considering it is a sports car.

I have run out of things to check and would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

The type of noise might be helpful here.

Is it a chirping, squeaking, clunking, thud?

I had a squeaking sound go away when I replaced the steering stabilizer.

The noise is more of a clunk. No squeaking or rattling.

Thanks for your consideration.
