Default eibach cutting...pics in avatar

I had a spare set of eibach's so despite warnings, I cut aset up to see what happened. I took a full coil out of the fronts and a coil out of the back. I figured this was aggressive, but I'd try it since they were just taking space. I got a full 2.25" in the front and 2.75" in the rear. Tires are 235/19 and 275/20. I do get rubbing at extreme lock, but nothing thats a huge deal to me bcd I was going for a look as opposed to performance. The springs performed as well as the std eibachs in the corners. I have experienced zero 'darting' and the alignment is dead on to factory specs with the speedybenz.com camber adjustment bars. Ride is unchanged, maybe a little less firm.

I put the camber adjustment bars on mine after having darting problems with the eibach springs. It was suggested that I set the camber at zero. Now the car bottoms out on the right rear. It's real bad with passengers and when launching hard. What's your camber setting? It cured the rear end darting on loose surfaces. But I can't stand the bottoming out.

The bottoming may require more spacers added to the spring and or a bigger snubber in the shock area. That will limit the down motion on a biggy bump. Some shock bushings can be added to try the setup and get your best bet. Woody

I recently added the 12mm spacers. It's not remotely better. I like the snubber idea though. I still have cut off pieces lying around. Would cut down SRT springs help?

Ask Brian Brave, he did that and is happy with it.Woody Could always PM him also. Woody Me I autocross and I pulled the Ei's and went stock with 3/4 turn cut, AFTER CHECKING 1/2 turn for fit and operation.Woody

You mean you cut down stock SRT springs right? Brian too? I figure they are stiffer so should I go SRT's on the front too, or will it be OK to do just the back?
