Default SRT-6 Springs on my '04 coupe...HELP!!!

Hey everyone! So I'm in the process of getting some SRT springs from a member here and I want to cut them and put them on my 04 coupe. I don't really post that much and before writing this I made sure to do as much research as my eyes can handle. I've found almost all the info I need except for if the SRT and N/A have the same size spring pad. I think I'm going to cut 1 full coil off of the back, and 3/4 off of the front... But I want to keep the stock spring pads. I would love to have little to no wheel gap, is this possible with the stock spring pads and cutting the springs as I want to??? I'm thinking it'll be OK but I want to get some feedback first. This is such a great forum and resource, and I appreciate everyone here very much. Thank you in advance.

Sean

i just helped jhm2k do this mod on his limited. he went #1 pad in the rear and #4 in the front. we will be changing the fronts to #2 pads for another 8 mm drop and even the car out. unfortunatly theres no shortcut for this mod!!!! you have to do the complete install and look at the car. then redo it again if it isnt the height you want. its very time consuming but rewarding.
the use of a spring compressor on the front could save you hours of work but the cost isnt cheap!

his car in stock form had #3 pads on the front and #1 on the rear

How much did you end up cutting off of the springs?

Awesome, this has been really helpful, thanks guys. Ill be sure to post pics once I find out the perfect stance for me. Also would anyone suggest that getting a camber kit from TVT is a good choice?

i have the camber bars from tvt and they seem to be a decent product for the price. im not sure you need all 3 pieces. it really depends on how low you go. you will also need eccentric bolts for the fronnt camber and caster , also depends on how low you go

Yeah, according to their website they sell the arms and bolts for $250. So it seems like a good price to me. Do you have the bolts from TVT as well?
