I think they look great aside from the fact that the front center caps won't quite fit over the grease/dust shields even with the 10mm spacers.





Anyway, I'll be taking her out for a bath and a photoshoot in a few hours so stay tuned!

Yes, they won't quite go on. I'm kicking around a few ideas for a solution but I might just leave them off since it doesn't really bother me.

 

I had a problem with my front caps as well. I used a dremel tool and gently ground out the inside of the cap to them point where it finally snapped in place. I also got a few extra caps just in case I burned through them or they popped off. Its a good idea to get the caps now. If they stop sellling the wheels then its much harder to find the caps. I'm curious just how detrimental it would be if you removed the dust cap from the hub? I think the wheels have a cleaner, finished look with the center caps on. very nice looking wheels.

what color is your car Al? Mines the white coupe. I pt yellow and black slasher stripes on, and painted the calipers yellow and it looks really good. everybody leans toward the red so I figured orange was my first choice and yellow my second, but because I couldn't find orange vinyl easily, I went with yellow. Until I decide to change it to orange. Those wheels are really sharp!

BTW, I didn't see the car pics when I just posted this, so sorry about the question!!!! BTW, was I behind you on 494 testerday afternoon about 3:30 or so heading east? I saw a Cross just like yours, and noticed the wheels were different, but traffic was moving and couldn't see what kind they were. Mark

my car is Graphite. I doubt you saw me on 494 yesterday though; I was at home putting the wheels on around that time. Keep an eye out for me though. I drive on 494 just about every day around 4:15.

Thanks for the suggestion on yellow calipers. That might be just the ticket!

 

The guy driving it was somewhat younger, with at least his left arm tat sleeved, but since we've never met and it was a graphite coupe when you posted the pics I thought it might be you. I'll keep my eyes open for you though, and hopefully we'll get a chance to meet soon. I have alot of yellow rustoleum enamel if you want to use that instead of buying more. It's a deeper yellow, leaning toward the deep golden color rather than bright yellow. Yours to use if you want it, bud. the graphite with yellow would indeed look awesome.

BTW, I think your photo placements, the angles and of course the subject are really beautiful. Great, great job.

 

VERY NICE! Aggressive look'in rear lip. It's like factory wheels on steroids. I've seen these in Hyper Black and they look really sharp.

What size spacers did you use and will the offsets clear without spacers?
Are you running OEM size rubber?

Those are wicked. You could paint the dust cover to match the rims then it would give it more of a finished look.
