Default cam kit 2007 Crossfire LTD

My car is at the Purcel car repair shop with a new cam kit in hand I had Chrysler send me last week.

The tech there is confused because he says the "kit" only appears to replace the parts that are already on the car and don't have any adjustment capability like typical cam kits.

Doesn't anyone have a clue about this? The repair shop checked with Chrysler direct and was told it was the right parts for the job. They are also faxing a diagram to the dealership they think might help.

I know....perhaps I should have taken it back to Chrysler dealership. My experience with them has not been good in the past. Their "Crossfire trained tech" is long gone.

Thanks very much!

...are you sure you did not simply order a replacement OEM camshaft and affiliated parts???

...haven't heard of an aftermarket camshaft for either the N/A or SRT made by Chrysler in the last few years I've been an owner.

Yes, I'm sorry. It is for the setting on the camber on the rear end. Purcell just called and said they installed the kit Chrysler said would fix it and it did nothing.

sorry again, steve

? I didnt know chrysler made a adjustible camber arm for the rear, they probably sent a stock arm and that will not change anything unless the old one was bent or damaged , TVT makes the ones I have installed on my car and they work excellent( lots of adjustment) ,,,,, , Thats probably why the tech sees no improvement....

Howard.
