what color wheels on my alabaster?
Hi everyone,
I am thinking about getting mandrus milleniums on my alabaster crossfire, as they are they best fitting almost stock looking wheels. I would get 19's and 20's.
However, everyone has them so I am thinking about getting them and painting/powdercoating them. I photoshopped the colors I am thinking about and want to know what you all think looks best.
personally I think I am liking the bronze!

The Milleniums look really good in the black and silver. The bronze tint looks nice as well. I just got home from having Manhiems installed and they look great. I will post some pictures tomorrow in new thread so you can check those out as well.
If you are wanting something a little different, have you considered the Lexani LX10's? At the Lexani site, you can even customize them with your choice of colors. They have an online wheel builder to try out different designs.

In photoshop I lowered it, changed sizes to 19s and 20s, Added red calipers and just played around with the idea of removing the strakes like the Sema SRT6

They are a little too gangsta looking for my taste I like simple wheels that look like they could be stock except for size and color, usually one color. I would also only spend over 500 bucks per wheel if I absolutely loved them. the wheels builder is fun to play with though thanks
I do like the petrol faust in gunmetal with the black lip. However, I would definitly have to see them on a car before I would drop 700 bucks per wheel on them and I would like to go wider in the rears not stay the same.

I just mocked up an extreme example of what you can do with the custom builder on their site of an idea that might look good on your car.

I just ordered rims for my 04, TSW Thruxtons. I was looking at rims with black and silver but to me black rims look out of place, like black socks with sneakers
I looked for wheels for a solid year....so, I stayed with the stock wheels....tired of trying to make a decision...and usually that isn't too hard for me.....I'll keep them looking factory for now...but, wheels do make the car, that is for sure....

The stock wheels are a bit of an enigma for me. I don't really care for them, but having said that, I haven't yet found a set of wheels that I would like any more than them.
Well, for a reasonable price, at least...

black with a red pinstripe around the rim to match the red calipers. then paint all the silver accents on the car black to match or white
Lexanis are a little fussy for my tastes. Schott Daytona is a little less busy, reasonably priced and American-made.
As for me, I think the Schott Axiom is probably the best aftermarket for folks who like the base OEM wheel concept but not the execution.

I've always had a soft spot for ten-spoke wheels...
