Unhappy OEM Brake calipers?

So I had to get My brakes done @ 55,000 miles. but the Local company. Les Schwab ( the largest tire company in the Pacific northwest) Said they had to Replace the calipers,Front rotors and all Pads. I said Why the Calipers? I understand Front Rotor replacement and of course pads all the way around but Calipers?

What is the life expectancy of Calipers on an N/A crossfire?

^^^^ good question...

unless you damaged the calipers some way they should be fine..... too bad it's not an SRT, I have a set of stock calipers sitting in the garage....I have the rotors too for that matter....

Sounds really fishy.... Did he say why you needed new calipers?

If you did not get your old calipers back it is really fishy.
Never let the garage keep you from seeing the old parts and make sure they are your actual parts.
If Les Schwab is a franchise then its the franchisee who could be the crook.
Did you agree to the change without seeing the old parts?
