Coil Over Suspension
Everywhere I look for coilover suspension it says signficant modification is required...has anyone come across a kit where it's a straight fit with no modification required?
I know a little about this, not because I'm lower than anyone else, but because I really stress my car with R-compound tires at the track.
A.- The lower the car the closer the sway bar is to the frame and it will hit the frame in one spot on each side if severely lowered. (coilovers with full drop) (high G cornering with R Compound tires)
B.- Unless you use the stock curved camber arms, on a severely lowered car, the camber arms make contact with the sway bar under full compression.
Truthfully, I don't know if the sway bar hits the frame first or if the camber arms hit the sway bar forcing it into the frame. I need to notch my frame and I don't even have coilovers.
I can take a picture of the marks on the frame and sway bar ..... actually, I already have some somewhere.

I'll add that you will need to do some reforming/shaping of the wheel wells too.
