Default Upgrades

Since I have upgraded wheels, brakes, tires and suspension I can honestly say, for the first time, this thread is going in the right place

AMG SLK32 brakes with D/S rotors and upgraded pads (plus 5 hours in the paint booth)

AMG replica wheels with AMG center caps and Falken 452 tires 18/20 stagger

AMG SLK32 springs (soon to be cut)

Adjustable Sprint Booster (awesome)

Thanks to a few friends, I have the rear adjustable camber arms and bolts sitting in the garage waiting for me to cut these springs and give her the stance she needs. What do you guys think?

I like the stance the way it is, very agressive. The wheels look great as does the entire car. Do you charge by hour, because I wish mine could look that good.

Nicely done, great look! It looks like you could almost do a brake job w/o taking off those open rims, lol.

Oh yeah, and the next batch of parts that I am going to paint is definitely going to include the doorhandles (last silver exterior accent left )

John,
The car looks great. I like those nice open wheels too. I would like a nice double 5 spoke like TSW Indy500's with the polished lip on them......soooooo much easier to clean. And I could show off my C32 brakes....

Except for the grill I like everything you've done to your car... Looks amazing with those wheels.

John, it looks absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see it with the final stance. Right now the front wheels stand out because the sidewalls on the tires are so much taller than on the rears, but I bet that will change once the stance is lowered. Great job on the entire look.

Wow John all the hard work really paid off. Your Crossfire is a classic beauty. Love the wheels, as you know I am a big fan of the open wheel look. You made a great choice there. Looking forward to seeing it and you and Molly in the fall.

Thanks a lot, gentlemen. It has taken a lot of work, and there are many subtle touches people who have been around the car *and* owned and modified XFs for years have not noticed, so I have tried to be low key, but when you look at the whole thing, you just wonder what it is drawing your eye in, but you can't put your finger on it....

I am looking forward to many friends seeing her soon

The last one was mean in its own way, but this one is much more go than show and still looks good IMHO. Your parts will aid this endeavor greatly, thanks again.
