Left Rear Noise
After a drive, when I get out of the car, there is a noise from the right rear as if the shock is scraping internally. I can grab the rear fender and move the car enough up and down to make the same noise. It has happened several times. This morning when I crawled under to diagnose the noise, the sound was not there at all. I read the suggestion from Athol H about the top shock mount, but it does not mention if that noise comes and goes. I read about broken rear anti-sway bar brackets. Mine show no sign of that. I read about hatch noises, but my car is a roadster. I can check the tiny trunk lid next time the noise appears. Does anyone have an idea what else to look for on a noise in the rear suspension (or?) that goes away when the car just sits overnight?
