And I'm not a racer or twister, but gotta' guess there would be a sacrifice in tread life. But what the hell. They should stick to the asphalt.

In any event, you sure can't beat the price of these Korean-made tires. Another job gone over seas.
These tires are far from being a soft compound. For a performance oriented tire they are on the hard side and have significant life. Grip does not compare to Advan AD07's or AD08's (among other tires) but the life is significantly longer.

Can you tell me how the tires handle in sub-freezing weather?
I drive mine when the roads are dry and the temps are below freezing.
I notice a little less grip than on a warm day but not a great amount of difference IMO.
I have put 21000 miles on these tires and they are wearing VERY WELL !!!

Did I say....I LOVE THESE TIRES !!! LOL

Don, did you buy them through TireRack? If not, do you have any more info on this?

Purchased a full set of stock-sized Hankooks yesterday from Discount Tire Direct for $640 (shipping included). Subtracting the $80 rebate brings the total cost of the tires down to $560 (no sales tax for purchasing through the internet!!).

Hi just installed 2 rear Hankooks, seem fine, but I had Yokohama Advans before, got 25,000 miles out of them, but they certainly hung on the road, Hankooks not as good, but are much quieter, plus the price was much better for the Hankooks.... $660 for the pair as against $1,035 for the Advans!
