SRT Calipers
Well.....here we go. I recently purchased a set of EBC slotted brake rotors and some Redstuff brake pads. I also painted the front calipers black and this setup looks excellent. After I finished the front, I moved to the back and found that my rear calipers were seized up and its time to get some new calipers. While I was looking at brake setups, calipers seem to be non-existent besides OEM's and a 5,000 setup from stoptech. Between the rotors and pads Ive already got over 1,000 invested in just rotors and pads. Some decent calipers would be nice, but OEM's may just be the trick without dropping too much. Anyone else come into a similar situation? Anyone that has experienced a similar situation that has some input would be nice to hear.
The left rear is seized in the bore and the left front boot is torn so Im sure it is not too far behind. At this point, I think I am going to rebuild the calipers all the way around for now. I am just getting started on my build so I want to keep moving forward will everything else without getting stuck on the brakes. If there is an option that will bolt on, that would be the ideal situation but there doesnt seem to be any options out there. Maybe I am just not looking hard enough, but the job doesnt allow for much time other than sleep.
