Default Feathering tires.

Talked to chrysler today and they said my tires(directional) are feathering causing a rythmic thrum and slight vibration at or above 110km/hr. Could camber arms or other suspension tweaks fix the problem?
I have 20" 225/30 on the front and 275/35 on the rear. My tire guy says its a common prob with mercedes. I'm not so sure. Cash grab? Please post wheel and tire setup and how long the tire lasted? Hopefully we can shed some light on the issue.

your shop may be referring to the lack of camber adjustment as the common problem... if you do anything to the suspension that changes the camber.... you can not adjust for it.... unless you buy after market adjustable camber arms or Kmac camber kits.....

Feathering is usually a toe problem. The result tof thread patch twisting as the initial leading contact m
oves laterality rather than straight back as the tire rolls .

Toe and caster are adjustable on the factory links..... any good alignment shop should be able to get them in spec... unless they are way out of wack for some reason....
