Aftermarket Wheels Spacer problems
um.. Make me a bargain on your problem child? Lol.
Okay.. Yes they need to fix things if it's not holding air.. The tpm has rubber seals.. Wonder if "by chance" one was damaged causing your slow leak. As far as the light on the dash.. Unless your tire shop was able to "clone" the id of the replaced module.. Well bad news.. Its a trip to the dealer to tap into the main brain of the car to set it to recognize the "id" of the new module. A little dish soap/water at the valve stem will let you know if its leaking there real fast..and then if you have put it in a spray bottle use it around the wheel - tire to check the seal.
Keep us updated...

Thinking about it.. I'm kinda surprised they didn't mention programming for it when you purchased it. Dealer service above and beyond I guess..

You"ll probably find a slow leak..
and More advice..super glue to the rescue.. LOL. Smashed my finger with a boat trailer.. "thought" I had it on the ball hitch.. slipped off and smashed my finger.. basically "blew" it open..super glue.. elect. tape.. and off to the lake.. LOL..

they would have.
I thought you bought the sensor from the dealer? The tire "might" have had a bad seal at the rim.. backside since you did check the outside and valve stem.. 65 PSI could have been enough to force the seal at the rim.. not saying it's your case.. but when my rear tires were mounted.. they were balancing them and from the shop window I noticed one wasn't running true.. he put the weights on and all and started rolling towards the car with it.. then stopped and had noticed the bead had not seated fully at the rim.
Edit: And unless i'm mistaken in what I've read elsewhere.. a strong magnet is actually use to activate a new senor to life.. but then as noted it has to be registered to the cars computer.

I did buy it from the dealer but I only called to see if they had one for my car since the wheel place said they'd put it on. Had I known this was going to run ino such a big deal I would have thought to talk to the service department. Sounds like that is where I am headed anyway. The tire was sitting at 29.5 when I got home after they out it at 32 or 34. Probably 32 since its the front.
My patience would be getting a little thin at this point.. LOL.
Wow.. I'd be driving it right back over to them and tell them to check the pressure again.." now find the leak so we can be done here!" Soak that puppy with soapy water solution.. it's got to start blowing bubbles somewhere...

I know y'all are sitting at the edge of your seats for an update to my saga for those of you not sick of it..just a little something. Tire at 13.5 psi this morning. Will have one of the two I mentioned find the problem. And then head to tire and wheel to have them fix whatever the problem is. I'll take pics of air bubbles or a statement..whatever it is with me.

hahaha..I thought you were referring to Tire and Wheel and how they handled this situation! I'm going to contact Chrysler Corporate Office tommorrow in hopes of talking to someone who actually knows what they are talking about since everyone including the local dealer has a different take on how they work when you've replaced them. I don't know if there's some reason it's not reading correctly after relplacing the back two tpms b/c all four used to read correclty. Would lyou thnk with 13.5 psi the tire would look lower or differnt than the other ones? It didn't. I know when I took the car into a local place to do something with it, they told me that the one back tiire was reading low, but I've never seen that and I' was checking it pretty regularly. Crossifre is a unique and strange thing but I love it anyway. I just wanted to have a cool sports car that people thought I looked great driving and have fun in...little did I know.........what a challenge the car would become.
But don't worry.. we can get you through it with any local monkey with a wrench.. or solder gun.. LOL.
The guy that sold me the wheels "Paul" told me to come back in and they would do whatever it took it get it resolved. One of the guys was saying "isnt this your third time here" and I'm like well yes it is but hopefully it's the last time for this issue. They dunked the tire again and there was no leak. Then they are rebuilt the TPMS and glued the seal around the beads...something like that. Left there and when I got home the psi was the same so it appears it's fixed, but will keep an eye on it just to be sure. Yippee! l😃
Finally! LOL.. sounds like they put new seals on the TPM and maybe silicone sealant just for grins.. Now on to the dealer for the light on .. um.. don't be shocked if its a $100 date for them to program it.. Think they are in competition with Harley Davidson..
That's exactly what they did. and I still need to call Chryslers Corporate office to ask about the darn tpms. Maybe, just maybe now that the tire is holding air and supposedly all four are functioning, the light will go off!
Umm.. pretty big thread on TPM replacement.. thought we hit gold with Orange brand.. but nobody seems to have the T30 programmer required to set the individual wheel sensors to the old ones code.. and all street signs are pointing back to dealer for oem sensor programming. Not to mention Orange brand closed the US doors on the office here..
But do keep us updated on "phase II" .. LOL.

Actually electrical tape.. the black is less distracting.. Monster energy drink stickers work nicely too..
