Default All season performance tires help please.

Ok, a little background. I had a limited, tree fell on it and I bought a forum members (mrphotomans) srt6
Obviously the srt6 makes much much more power than my limited did.
On my limited I had all season continentals that stuck just fine.
The srt6 has summer Bridgestone RE050A pole positions.
It sticks like glue. The tires have some tread left but are starting to crack.
I live in pennsylvinia and I am concerned with cold temperature driving.
In the past I had some summer tires (good years) that got rock hard in the cold and were just scary.
I have other vehicles but the srt is my most sensible car to drive. I do not plan on driving in the snow at all.
I only averaged about 4000 miles a year on my last crossfire.
I am looking for tire recommendations for my needs.
Are there any summer tires that are useable in freezing temps?
If not what is the best all season performance tire?
I don't put enough miles to justify a set of dedicated winter tires.
I work less than a mile from home. In bad weather I have one of the guys pick me up.

I was looking at the Bridgestone summer s-04 but I have no idea how hard they will get when they freeze.
I welcome any input.
Thanks.

I picked up a set of Toyota proxies 4 a year ago and really like the all round performance.. They look like a summer tire but have deep groves the actually put them in the mud and snow category .

I'm not aware of any summer tires that can be used in freezing temps, but you may want to check TireRack.com to be sure.

I've had good luck with Michelin Pilot A/S and many forum members like the Continental Extreme Contact DSW.

Ok I am looking at the continental dws 235/40/18 and 275/30/19
I have an srt that has ran an 11.86 in the 1/4 by the previous owner(mrphotoman)
Looking for opinions on these tires with this much power.
I am afraid to go with a summer only tire as I need to drive the car when it is cold.

Also looking at the toyo proxies 4 plus. Anyone know where to get them?
I have had great luck with tire rack over the years but they don't list them.
Thanks

+1 on my Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I put over 34,00 miles on the rears before changing and expect to double that on the fronts

Stryfox,
I have been using my proxis 4's for a year no with 16 thousand on them. I have rodded this car so it is a hand full.
the summer grip is out rages, the winter grip is surprising. I will buy another when these are worn. the only place to buy them that I know of is les Schwab. they are specific to them. Highly recommended for all year. the tread depth is calling for MS. they are great for cold asphalt.

Here's another great A/S that I have on my Limited. Love them and the price is great too....

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ble-tires.html

One thing I like about these is that they can be rotated side to side. Just had my tire guy pull them off the rim and swap with the opposite side. Sweet!
I don't believe you can do this with the Proxes or the DWS.

I have the General G MAXs as well, like them alot. Great traction, really good ride, and quet! Not a cheap tire, mine cost just under $1000 ( mounted, balanced, TPM rebuild, taxes) I'm HAPPY!
