Default ADR Propulsion (machine silver) 18" and 19", 235/40/18, 265/30/19

long story short, the company i ordered from AVN motorsports sent me the wrong wheels, sent me machine/hyper silver instead of hyper black (black chrome).

they were an astounding company to deal with, i recommend them to everyone. they explained what happened and it was partially my fault, partially theirs. they were more the happy to do anything to keep me happy and i respect that. i would recommend them and buy from them again. + they gave me longer lug bolts for the rear since i had spacers, andi ncluded the front lug nuts as well!

18 19 ADR PROPULSION WHEELS RIMS CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE NEW:eBay Motors (item 350244890670 end time Sep-25-09 10:14:20 PDT)

email them and tell them you have a chrysler crossfire, they'll throw in the lugs for free and give you a list of other wheels they have in those sizes as well.

i got 18" in the front with tire sizes 235/40/18 (same as OEM) and in the rear 19" with 265/30/19, (10mm wider in the rear)..my tires of choice were Toyo Proxes 4.. they're an awesome A/S tire that were pretty cheap (750 out the door). I previously had goodyear eagle f1's and i hated them and I paid 1100 for them, they only lasted 15k miles. i also put 15MM spacers on the rear to accomodate for the larger tire sizes.

Those look great! How is the wheel/finish quality? They seem to be quite a bargain! Thanks for posting.

Great looking wheels..... and a great price! Now just lower that puppy for a finished look. I have a black SRT roadster. This got me to thinking about these in Hyper Black in a 19/20 set. Enjoy the great looking wheels.

They look awesome. Were they difficult to balance?

The wheels are stamped "made in china".. they seem fine but you know everything made in china... only time will tell.. they indeed were a bargain

i do need to lower it as well, but that's $$$ i would rather spend elsewhere.. if i had to do it again i wouldn't get 265/30/19, i would get the 255/35/19 so they would be a littler taller. 19/20's would look great (as maxcichon has)

i don't know if they were difficult to balance, belle tire did it. they didn't say anything to me, so i'm not sure. there doesn't appear to be any more weights then my OEM wheels had

These wheels are AWESOME looking!! I've been a big fan of this wheel ever since I saw a set on a Chrysler 300C on the south side of Knoxville in the parking lot at the Alcoa smelter. Makes your car really stand out!!

WOW, I'm glad I saw these before I went with the Mandrus Millenium rims.

I like this stying much better than the Mandrus, (but I continue to be torn between the Hyper-Silver and straight Chrome):

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...rome-rims.html

I'm running stock size tires from Continental, which I don't wanna change as they have less than 1000 miles on them.

Any issues with getting the right size ADR-54 Propulsion rims to match my current tires...???

Front ~ 225-40 R18 Continentals
Rear ~ 255-35 R19 Continentals

Any input on on the correct size ADR rims for my tires is appreciated...

Thanx...

You'll probably need the following ADR Propulsion Rims:

Front: 18 x 8, 5 x 112, 33 mm Offset, 73 mm Hub Bore
Rear: 19 x 8.5, 5 x 112, 20 mm Offset, 73 mm Hub Bore
Hub Centric Rings: 66.56 mm / 73.0 mm

These ought to fit w/o much fuss with factory size tires mounted. nox1s can chime in to verify.

Here's an eBay link that has these wheels listed in various sizes & styles. Worth seeing the different looks.

Attached are pictures of a 2004 SSB coupe in Florida that I passed on that had these rims mounted. Absolutely Gorgeous!! I should have bought this car!!

Thanx for the additional info.

I got a rim/tire place close to me that could have gotten me the Mandrus Millemium's, I'm gonna check with him on these ADR's.

If he can get them within reasonable price of what's found on the web, (adjusted for ship and mount), I would prefer to give the local guy the business.

Also if I run into any issues he's close by, and it's one throat to choke.

The pix on the Xfire you passed on, look to be the Hybrid-Silver finish, and work real nice with the SSB color scheme...

These wheels look like machine silver. Not hyper silver. Look great btw! I am thinking about getting these on my black limited coupe. But I am not sure which (hyper or machine silver) will match the accents better.

hyper silver should be the better match.....machined silver would be brighter....

Hmmm well both the silver and blue car look good with them, but I think the silver car has hypers and the blue has silver. now.... what would look good on black

You're right, hyper does seem to match a little bit better, but the silver one sort of pop more...

He originally wanted these:

18x8.5 Hyperblack Wheels Rims adr propulsion 5x112 | eBay

Hyper Black. I bought Sterns in Hyper Black and am glad I did. From the same e-vendor too. Call and they'll mix-n-match a staggered set for the same price. Or darned close.

Rim comes in a hyper black version, too. Has a little more "pop" to it. Here's a link to Golden Apple Corp's website for the ADR Propulsion:

Golden Apple Corporation

Website hasn't been updated in quite some time. There are more wheel sizes available than are listed here.
