I went and got them powdercoated yellow, but dont worry, for $80 i can have them powder coated any color you would like. I can let them go for $2,300 and that truly is my rock bottom that i am offering all of you. These things are truly enormous and this is over $500 off of retail. Jump on this deal!

Now if you want to ask me why, I will tell you that i just scored and entire set of clk63 AMG brakes for a steal and will be going with those instead obviously. Yes those are the 6 piston front 4 piston rear, but that will be another post...

EDIT: Pics will be availible on friday when i pick them up from powder coating.

FYI. I love the stoptech 355mm on my car. Match it with a set of rears and your good to go with factory pedle feel and loads of stopping power. The mercedes 6 piston fronts with the 4 piston rears... different feel... not the same. 2¢

Ya that setup would also run me 6k instead of 1.5k and the looks of these beauties are 2nd to none. as for peddle feel, doesnt bother me in the least im guessing it gets stiffer?

Casey, I'd list these in the 'for sale' section as well, if I were you. Good luck with the sale, I'm sure someone will jump on these..

I have the feeling that the master cylinder should be upgraded to one with a bigger bore to aid in the movement of more oil per inch of cylinder stroke.

I think my old NA required less pedal stroke than my SRT due to the increase in the total bore area. More pistons and bigger bores would need even more MC piston bore area to get a short pedal stroke.

If the bigger bored calipers got too hot when using the OEM MC, the clearance in the push rod may not be enough and you could end up with brakes being applied just because the oil was hot and expanded.

I wish I had some spare cash! I desperately need some better looking brakes behind my wheels.

I had planned on installing C32 brakes on the car and have the calipers sitting in the garage. I like the c32 brakes because I can use the wheels I planned for both the street and the track.

That being said I might be interested for the right price. I won't ask for it on a public forum so shoot me your minimum price. I am not looking to negotiate or screw you here. I am not really looking at these brakes but for the right price I will take them. If you are interested in pursuing shoot me you minimum price otherwise I wish you the best of luck in selling the brakes.

just so you know jeremy 18" wheels are the smallest you run with the 6 pots. slk55 forgestar avus wheels work well but may not be your style. you can go e55,sl55 sl600 and use radusa 14mm ball seat 12mm shanks or order ccw wheels

Steve- thanks I realize I need to go with 18s. I am wanting 17s for the track but that may end up having to change.
