Who did your order for wheels and tires go through? I ordered mine through Discount Tires after I research them. Discount did a price match. Discount also provided the hub rings at no charge. The Hub rings are only needed for the front.

A hubcentric fix is needed for both the front AND rear. The OP may need hubcentric spacers for the rear (to push the wheel back out) and not just rings.

Wheel Adapters 5 Lug Mustang Cherokee
(This LINK is mis-labeled. It goes to Mercedes spacers)
And, these would still need rings to match the bore.

The bore of the wheel MUST match the 66.56 mm hub in any application or one may get serious vibration.

So far as I can tell, the bore offered on ANY of these wheels is supposed to be 72.62 mm with a 5X112 bolt pattern. This sounds correct to me.

These rings (4) should fix this issue.

I've PM'ed the OP and offered my help. I'm fairly nearby and have some experience in this.

We'll get 'er done!

If these are accurate measurements, there is something wrong.

I am liking the enthusiasm. The wheels were ordered through Amazon over the course of several months from a seller called BuyWheelsToday. The tires were ordered from Discount Tire Direct. maxcichon I will reply to your PM right after this is posted and I appreciate everybody's assistance thus far. I will get pics ASAP.

Call your installer and see if they carry hubcentric ring adapters.. if so take it down and have them fix you up.. Easy route.

If he sees 2 different bores (front and rear) there may be problems with the wheels that were delivered.

Once installed.. unless they actually shipped other than ordered.. they are pretty much yours aren't they? Thats why I recommended that. If there are two different bores the installer should have a set for each. Providing they are a "full service" selling wheels etc. Then there is no more guessing what he's got and what he needs.

Mrmiata, you are correct, the wheels are officially mine. Unless a defect is discovered, I pretty much have no recourse through Amazon because the wheels are exactly what I ordered. Ive had the wheels mounted at a shop in East Ridge TN because a deputy I worked with also works a side job there and got me a substantial deal to have the tires mounted to the wheels and the wheels installed on the car. it was at that point that I discovered that I needed shorter rear studs. So the wheels sat in the garage until I got the studs in. I restarted this project last week and ran into this latest hiccup last Tues and that has brought me to here because almost everyone on here is a guru of sorts.

Also, Max, I just ordered those rings from your above link. Glad I waited because I think I ended up looking at the wrong ones the other night.

Pardon for the silly, but have you lifted the wheels and looked at the radial and side run out, its easily eyeballed to see what you have, should be less than 1/8". I checked mine often, swapped slicks about once a week when autocrossing, Wdy

And here's a side thought.. OEM wheels torque at 80 ft lbs.. aftermarket? Same?

Hahaha. I am learning so much about odd and end, weird things with this car. Also learned that the desire to bash my head in the wall grows with every little quirk.

Well the bright side of ownership is this forum.. Most all the quirks have been addressed here at one time or another, along with the most common upgrades people want.

Waldig, I have not even thought of that, but at this point, Ill check anything that is suggested. Miata, I think I remember hearing the TR6's are torqued to 85ft/lbs. Im glad this forum exists. I love me car but if it wasnt for this forum, I would have sold it about 18 times by now. Quirks=headaches but getting asked by people in my rural town if its a Ferrari makes it so worth it.

Miata, I couldnt have said it better myself. Wanted a crossfire since Call911 got his. A few times on the dragon with him and just hanging out and admiring his car since 2007. Got my chance in April 2012, took it.

The manual says 81ft/lbs for both I believe, but I do 85ft/lbs. Now the guys that put my new tires on felt that was wrong so one guy used way less and the other way more. Never trust a garage to get anywhere near the correct setting, do it yourself when you get home.

On my wifes car the same shop did not tighten them at all, and later my wife said the new tires were making a noise. It's a good job she did as all the nuts were finger tight at best and two nuts were a few threads short of touching at all.

Max, I may be "pretty old", but to me 200 miles each way is NOT "fairly nearby" ....

Well, I'm a lot closer than, say 180, right?
