Anthony, they look amazing. Which calipers do you still have available for sale that will fit a standard SRT6/SLK32 rotor?

I may be tempted to jump

I have a set of the C32 style Brembo calipers that fit the front SRT 330mm rotors. They are listed in the classifieds section.

Here's a parts list for those interested:

- Front Calipers - 2005+ CLK55 or SLK55
- Rear Calipers - 2005+ CLK55 or SLK55

- Front Rotors - Raybestos 980100 - CLK32 345mm (instead of the uber expensive 340's) - I bought them on Amazon for $95 each.

- Rear Rotors - Raybestos 980555 - SLK55 - 330mm rotors. Only $50 each on Amazon!

I finally found a supplier for Ceramic pads for the 6 piston calipers. I installed a set (front and rear) this morning and I'm really liking them. They have a great initial bite and the dust should be almost nonexistent.

- Front 6 piston Ceramic pads: $52

- Rear 4 piston Ceramic pads: $37

Thank again Anthony. I have been looking on-line and flea bay but can't find any CLK55 6 piston calipers. Must be REALLY hard to find! I was going to start calling around to all the salvage yards locally. The first one I called said "just come out and see what we have" forget that.

Brakes are usually towards the end of my list when it comes to upgrades (don't judge me just cause I don't hit the track!) but you have definitely inspired me as all of the options you listed seem like a reasonable upgrade without the prices of a BBK

As such, everything you've had is for the SRT but am I correct in guessing that it will all fit on a N/A as long as I upgrade to SRT (or bigger) rotors?

Unfortunately I didn't weight the 6-piston calipers before install, but I did weigh the stock calipers and a set of Brembo front and rear 4-piston calipers tonight for comparison.

STOCK SRT6

- Front - 19 lbs - 2 piston
- Rear - 7.6 lbs - 1 piston

BREMBO

- Front - 11.2 lbs - 4 piston
- Rear - 6.8 lbs - 4 piston

UPDATE:

I hated the red and there were issues with it not fulling curing before the Steve and I did the install, so the finish wasn't acceptable. As a remedy, I spent 7 hours tonight correcting my stupidity.

The first four hours were spent stripping off the read paint, and returning the calipers to the original color (silver):

Next I mixed up the G2 paint and painted them properly. I know it looks red in the photos below, but the color is actually Orange.

Better photos will be added once it's cured and I've had some sleep.

Photos of the G2 Orange calipers in the sunlight. I'll be installing some white Brembo decals eventually.

Really nice Anthony. Those front calipers take up a full 1/3 of the rotor. Make sure your passengers are buckled up before you use those weapons!

Thanks for the nice comments. I should have just painted them orange to begin with and saved myself a lot of time, but that's how it goes.

They look great, Anthony.

That is basically the same color as mine, although mine was called 'real orange' and is still an orange/red. I also did white decals.

Finally got around to applying decals to the rears. My wife is going to make decals for the fronts later this evening.
