Default Fully Adjustable Suspension

One of the things everyone kept complaining about with the rod end adjustable arms was the noise that is associated with them and how they wished they could get the same adjustment with a more factory type bushing. I spent some time putting some stuff together and figured I'd share what I have available now with everyone else. This is only one of the arms but all of them including the tie-rod will be adjustable. Not sure on pricing as of right now but these will probably be in the $200-$250 range for for a set of two.

Enjoy!

Rudy, I am so glad you did this, I need the rear only, but every single rod arm, box them up send them now, tell me how much and I will send you the money.I have my Mike-r's camber arm, remove it after 10,000 miles to look at it, it was still in great shape, the bolt has a little wear on it but not much, it does make a little noise when you go over a bump, or even the paint in the street you will hear it, so I need all of them, you must have known what I was thinking (wishing) I am so glad you made these, p.m. me the price I will get the money to you today,, thanks again Rudy for making these , jim

Jim,

I apologize I didn't let you know about these sooner. I remember talking with you about them at the dragon last fall when you broke your sway bar link. Still working on making sure everything will work right as rain for the tie rod and sway bar links but I emailed you the cost of the ones done so far. You're not replacing the ones Mike made are you?

Take care

Rudy, I have used that style ends on my car now for over 2 years and no trouble or noise. There was a guy over at the MB site selling them then.

I personally did not like the "other" style ends when I saw pics of them after some usage. Maybe a grease fitting at each pivot would help with noise and wear issues.

But I still think that they can be designed to have an arch in them for clearance. Yes you will have to remove one bolt to adjust, but that is only on initial set up.

James

The difference will be stainless ends, chromoly tubes, and everything fitted for a trouble free, bolt-on installation so you're not hunting for parts during install or worse, spending $80 for a LH thread die to make the ends you just bought work. In the end, if people want cheap crap, there's always eBay. I'm not selling cheap crap and I've stood behind everything I've ever sold.

Take care

These look really good, Rudy. I was worried with Mike's passing that we'd be SOL for any type of adjustable components... Once I'm dropped, I'll hit you up for (at least) the camber bars and swaybar links.

My last car was lowered some 2" in the rear, but the swaybar links were stock. The pre-load made the ride much harsher than it should have been.

It might help to ease the sting for all interested parties if you'd consider package pricing once everything is developed... kinda like what Mike did.

Thanks for stepping up to the plate and continuing the availability of a needed product.

No, not from ebay,
Yes your parts/ kits/ products and services are better than whats out there for our cars thats why I want to compare. I still need the other 2 arms for each side...

I am in the middle of a full custom air bag suspension (accuair e controller with universal air bags and dual viair 380c's) and these are exactly what I have been looking for. Please PM me details on a full set front and rear with camber arms as well (i haven't replaced any yet). Thank you for making these!

Any chance of getting offset ends of that style? The sway/camber arm contact problem would be completely fixed by even the slightest bit of extra room created by having the bar sit lower.

Awesome Rudy, another product added to your list.

Besides the squeaking from the QA1's I would also need a fix for the contact with the sway bar.

Yea it's not looking good but figured its worth a shot, Rudy might have some magic hookups

I wonder if we could get something made via group buy. I'd get a couple sets to satisfy the minimum number if I had to (and the cost wasn't crazy)

I'm still working on these and until I'm finished with everything and I'm happy with the results, I'd ask that people don't assume this isn't going to happen. I put it out there because I figured if a few people where looking for this stuff, others may be as well as is the case but I'm not ready to release anything just yet.

Also, I apologize I'm not able to update threads on here as often as I'd like. I put in 50+ hours a week at my first full time job, another 30 or so working on cars and then this stuff comes after all of that... Oh, and I have a fiance I somehow need to keep happy as well, etc, etc. LOL It's quite a juggling act.

Why not put them under a press and bend them, as James says you only set them once.
