Default Non-tpms valve stem size

I have tried searching to no avail;

I am replacing my wife's tires, I have already deactivated the tpms in the homelink module as I do not like tpms systems; more trouble than they are worth in my opinion. I check fluids and pressures weekly as a rule on all my vehicles.

its a 2004 limited coupe.

I am trying to find replacement stem size or description so I can bring the stems I want to the tire place rather than settle for what they have.

If anyone knows what the sizing is I would really appreciate it as I don't want to have to guess and I want the sensors removed from the wheels etc.

Thank you for your time and experience,

Tim

180, exactly!

that is the info I am looking for as well as diameter to "fit" the stock wheel hole. I want to replace the factory tpms stems w/ aftermarket stems, to do this I need the wheel/rim hole diameter.

Sorry for unclear first post.

Tim

Old thread, never answered? Did a search but could not find this answer. What is the TPMS stem hole diameter in the rims (for replacing the TMPS with a standard rubber stem). The new rubber stem will 'PoP' into the rim hole, so it must be the correct diameter to seal the hole throughout its whole hole diameter (pretty good wording there, huh?).

Initial search has the hole at .453 (11.5mm) diameter, it is the same size on all wheels for cars. The fact that it has TPMS makes no difference.
You can fit TPMS in any auto wheel, trucks use .625 diameter holes.

I have the stubby valves installed in everything. Car, Jeep, ATV and lawnmower!
less chance of breaking and not so noticeable.

Thanks Dave, I tried a keyword search, guess I didn't use the right one?

Thanks Beaner! I thought a LONG time ago (when first signed up it seemed), someone asked this Q but didn't remember what the answer was.

I knew I could count on the members to come through!
