Widest rears on stock rims
I know a lot of guys put some really wide rubber on the OEM wheels but go to Tire Rack and you will find that it is not recommended to go too wide and it is for good reason. Pick a tire you like and check the specs page and it will show the rim width recommended for each tire size and the minimum and maximum, Tire Rack does know what they are talking about.
Have read alot of comments about the 285s being about the most extreme you'll want to go. Depending on the tire mfg, some had trouble getting them to seat right. 275s are about the safest width to go with.
I'm running 283/35/19 on stock SRT6 rims with zero problems, and they look great...and also give that extra little bit of curb rash protection as a bonus
I have 275 on the roadster and 285 on the coupe. Each tire manufacturer is going to be just a little different.. but going the 275 route you will be fine....
