Wink Brake Dust Shields

While surfing EBAY for a Crossfire for a friend, I came across this Roadster.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chrysler-Crossfire-Limited-Auto-w-CLEAN-CARFAX-WE-FINANCE-05-Ltd-Conv-Soft-Top-Auto-Heated-Seats-/291093698356?forcerrptr=true&hash=item43c6895734&item=291093698356&pt=US_Cars_Trucks
Check out the Disc Brake Dust shields on this car. It makes the factory wheels look like "wheel covers".
I've never seen anybody use these. (hope I never do).

I have seen those damn things installed on other cars. Great way to trap the heat.

Yeah, I misspoke. I've seen them on "other" cars too, just never on a Crossfire.lol
They never botherd me that much on other cars, but seeing them on a Crossfire, and not being able to see the actual depth of the XF wheel, really looked so... wrong. Since the spokes on our cars are almost flush with the outer edge of the wheel it just looked so much like a wheel cover I had to laugh.

Yeah and they probably cost as much as a decent set of pads. Also, that car is listed as SSB which we all know it is not. I'm always amazed at how many sellers don't know the difference between SSB and Aero Blue
