rapid rear tire deflation
Has anyone else experienced rear tires suddenly going flat? This had happened twice, once on each side, very weird. Reinflate with a portable air pump and everything seems normal again.
Some of the standard Crossfire wheels have been known to crack. I would remove the wheel/tire from the car and spray soapy water everywhere to see bubbles to find the leak. Better yet, if you can find a container large enough to at least submerge a third or more of the tire and wheel into water will work even better. A bath tub would work for that, but make sure you protect the bottom and sides as the tire will mark it up and be hard to remove.
Besides the cracks, which are rare, it could be the tire bead around the wheel is corroded, the valve stem is cracked, the valve itself could be leaking, and of course punctures in the tires.

Yes, the valve stem sticks open and within an hour or so the tire is flat,, when u refill it and the tire stays up the valve stem seated,,, always after filling a tire put a little spit end of the valve steam,,if it bubbles reseat it by useing the inflator nozzle . jim
It does not appear to be a slow leak, but I'll check the tire, wheel & valve stem for leaks.
Pressures seem to be stable then all of a sudden flat, so yes it could be a person.
Of course the stock tire pressure monitoring light is on all the time so it's useless.
Thanks for the input!

If it is someone pranking you, it reminds me of wayyyyy back (like 4-5 decades) where kids would place a very small pebble in the cap on the valve stem. After checking/filling the tire the victim would screw the cap on and a slow leak would leave the guy stranded somewhere until the spare is mounted. Unfortunately our cars don't come with a spare... Catch em and there usually isn't anything you can do unless no one see's you
