Default Which brake rotors

Hi everyone,

Something weird just happenned. A part of my driver side rotor broke and now my brake on that side is making an horrible noise.

I think that I should probably replace both front brake rotors and maybe pads but I was wondering which do you guys go with. I want reliability and to avoid dust if possible.

Thank you

I've never heard of a rotor breaking. Are you sure a piece of the brake pad didn't break off or ?

I can show you the rotor. It is definitely broken but on the edge of the rotor. Never heard of that either... I'm lucky 😆

I shop at BrakePerformance.com. Excellent site for brake rotors & pads.

Centric posi quiet ceramic pads and Cryo treated 125 series rotors . These are not the most expensive but a lot of bang for the buck. I got mine from tirerack and am very happy with my brakes. Don't forget ! whatever brakes you decide to get make sure you bed the brakes in.

.

Could have been an impact or a casting flaw that finally gave from the heat. Please post a picture, I'd love to see the damage on the rotor?
