Default Noise from rear

Our blue roadster makes a banging noise from rear suspension when going over bumps. It has 91k miles so figured the most likely source would be anti-sway bar brackets tearing loose. I have a friend who worked for me for years and he is an excellent fabricator and welder, not quite Will on Bitchin Rides but close. Met him Sat morning at his welding shop, put the car on the hoist for inspection but could not find any problems. Brackets were fine, all bushings looked great, shock mounts tight, exhaust tight and secure, no play in drive line or carrier, couldn’t find anything loose. Searched around inside the trunk also. Anyone else ever find another source of noise I might have overlooked?

Could it be the trunk lid?
