Just as the Z man says, I shall lay it flat over to the right side. Since it is the expandable type, there is plenty of room on the floor. The coupe is in winter storage at this time. When I get it out and set it up I will send photos. Seems to me that the air compressor is quite faint-hearted. I shall get a more substantial pump. I have the 12mm X 1 inch wheel lug bolts with 17mm hex heads so as to fit the same lug wrench. The pump will draw up to 30 amps so it will not be used at the interior power outlet. It has battery clamps for under the hood connection. I have replaced the sealant container with a deluxe tire repair kit.

In a crash it can come over the seat and hit you in the back of your head which may be planted in the air bag.
It must be tied down somehow.

Your right about that. I shall move it to the roof top. ,,,,,,,Just jiving you. .... If I bolt it to the floor, I will cut the trunk cover into two pieces so as to be able to lift the left side with spare in place. Tues.Feb 16 2021' An edit. If i need to mount my spare tire then I should also bolt down any luggage that is put into the hatch area. . Where does it all end. I ain't going to mount any thing. Screw it.
