Any suggestions on replacement tires that will give a softer ride? I love my XF but its killing my bad back.

The Continentals have gotta ride better than the Michelins, seeing that one is pure performance. The other suggestion is to go with a taller profile giving you a bit more "cushion". I've seen 235's on the front and 265's on the rear, but that's about it. You might have to sell the car because it is a sports/tourer after all. BTW, your car is the nicest lookin' one here, was it repainted and what type of wax do you use, we gotta know!

Thanks, Roger

I want to try a few things before I give up. I use Meguiars mirror glaze #2 fine cut cleaner to remove spots and swirls first, then Meguiars mirror glaze professional hi-tech yellow wax #26. Its Brazilian number 1 carnauba wax.

Another brilliant suggestion from DAN... Try the Toyo S1-R, sidewalls are way too soft for the track, but are pretty good for daily driving... I don't think they will be softer than the OEM tires, but if you're experiencing a hard drive from the OEM suspension (WHICH IS SOFTER THAN JELLO) maybe you got the wrong car ! Perhaps you should think about a cruising sedan...
