Default winter tires for my SRT

Hello all,
I am posting this so that it might help others. I am not looking for a debate on appropriate winter usage for Crossfire. I need to use the car occasionally throughout the year and I need it to be as saf as possible.
I went with Michelin X-Ice tires mounted on base Crossfire rims and I've been pleased so far. Quiet, grippy in the snow. No time with ice or snow yet.
Ended up tweaking the size slightly so that I could use the much cheaper and more readily available X-Ice tires as opposed to the Pilots.
Michael

When Crossfire's were introduced in 2004, I drove my DaimlerChrysler employee leased Crossfires year round in metro Detroit for 4 years. No, they are not good in the snow by any means, but you can get by. I added 160lbs of weight in my coupes trunk area which helped a bit. "W" mode will help too. Now that I am an old retired guy, the SRT6 has just been put any until April/May.
