Any experience with replica wheels?
About a week ago, I had no choice but to hit a huge pothole. Blew a tire and egg shaped my front wheel. I have a new tire but am looking for a new wheel (old one cant bee repaired). Found a company, wheelership.com that makes a replica wheel - same dimensions - that fit a crossfire. Just wondering if anyone has gone this route before and if they were happy with the purchase. I don’t track my xf and use it more as a daily driver.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you to all who responded to my inquiry. My problem has been solved. Located a wheel in excellent condition for a very reasonable price thanks to a family members efforts. No curb rash, it’s round, it fits and I’m back on the road again. Now, I’m just waiting to hear from the Legal Department in Kansas City about reimbursing me for my expenses due to their pothole damaging my wheel and tire. . Will my luck hold out? I sure hope so.

Good luck with that. By the time you file all the necessary paperwork, and a half dozen phones calls later after several denials, you will probably just accept your loss. Just what the Government wants!
However you’ll maximize the chances you get paid if you take a few key steps:
Take photos of the damage.
Get an itemized repair estimate or receipt.
And pinpoint the pothole’s exact location.
When you file a claim, keep a copy of the form for yourself.
Don't wait, many States only gives you six months to file.
The best reports include an exact location.

Got my response from KCMO Legal Dept. They are issuing me a check to reimburse for my tire and wheel. Would not pay for alignment. I have AAA for my insurance and road hazard, so they wouldn't pay for tow either. On my own for that too. Happy to get the check and that they decided to do the right thing. Alls well that ends well.
